Transactions of the London Mathematical Society
is a fully open access journal that covers the same subjects as the Bulletin, Journal and Proceedings of the London Mathematical Society with which it shares the LMS Editorial Advisory Board. It has a wide scope which ranges from number theory to functional analysis and from quantum field theory to topology.

Copyright and Open Access

All articles published by Transactions of the London Mathematical Society are fully open access: immediately freely available to read, download and share.

There is no submission charge for papers submitted to the journal, however authors will be required to pay an Article Processing Charge (APC) upon acceptance of their paper. Details of current APCs can be found

If your paper is accepted, the author identified as the formal corresponding author for the paper will receive an email prompting them to login into Author Services; where via the Wiley Author Licensing Service (WALS) they will be able to complete the license agreement on behalf of all authors on the paper.

The corresponding author will have a choice of the following Creative Commons License Open Access Agreements (OAA):

  • Creative Commons Attribution License OAA
  • Creative Commons Attribution Non-Commercial License OAA
  • Creative Commons Attribution Non-Commercial -NoDerivs License OAA

Copyright on any research article published in Transactions of the London Mathematical Society is retained by the author(s). Authors grant the London Mathematical Society a licence to publish the article and identify Wiley as the original publisher.
