Aims and Scope
Transactions of the London Mathematical Society is a fully open access journal that covers the same subjects as the Bulletin, Journal and Proceedings of the London Mathematical Society with which it shares the LMS Editorial Advisory Board. It has a wide scope which ranges from number theory to functional analysis and from quantum field theory to topology. The journal is peer reviewed, copy-edited and typeset to the same high standard as the other LMS titles.
The Journal, Proceedings and Bulletin of the London Mathematical Society have long been among the world's leading mathematical research journals. They have been joined by Transactions of the London Mathematical Society, a fully open access online journal launched in March 2013. All four journals share a common Editorial Advisory Board and the same standard of peer review. The Bulletin also publishes survey articles and obituaries.
Subject coverage of the LMS journals ranges across a broad spectrum of mathematics, covering the whole of pure mathematics together with some more applied areas of analysis, mathematical physics, theoretical computer science, probability, and statistics.
